Frequently Asked Questions FAQ

How can I request translation service?

Currently, we only provide commercial translations for selected corporate clients and/or institutions. We also provide pro bono services.

What is the translation process like?

In a nutshell: you provide the original text, we deliver the translation, and you're ready to open up a whole new market.  However,_we're happy to share more as you're here — every translation project consists of three main steps: you provide the original text, we search for industry practices, previous publications, etc., and compile a glossary (if the project is large or specialized, we'll share it with the client first); after the first draft is completed, we pass it to the editor to fix any errors in the translation, and then to the proofreader before finalization. Thanks to this Three-step process (known in the industry as Translation-Editing-Proofreading, or TEP), we are able to ensure that the delivered translations are accurately and effectively advertised to your new market clients.

How much time and cost do I need to spend?

It depends largely on the word count of the text. For example, for English to Chinese translations, our committed rate is 3,000 words per working day. For example, if you provide 2,900 words, you can have your translation ready as soon as that day , and if you provide 12,000 words on a Monday, you can have it ready as soon as Thursday — a simple and fast process where you just "mind you own words" and we take care of the rest.

I have other concerns...

You may be worried about the complexity of the process and fees, and you may be afraid that the quality of the translation may not be to your liking. We understand that there are always bad bugs in the industry and you may have had a bad experience, but rest assured, we have been in business for over 5 years and never settle for less than the best when it comes to quality. Feel free to contact us and let us show you our best work and gain your confidence with our productions.
